I am a programmer, a guitarist, an introvert, and a TV enthusiast. I don't spend time with other people that often but I would not classify myself as socially awkward, I just prefer being by myself. Despite this I'm still able to participate effectively in groups and can take on leadership roles.
Some gifts that I have I think define me, that's why they were a part of the "I am" portion of this post as well. One of these 'gifts' is computer skills. I enjoy learning about computers and programming them. This passion has lead me to my major, computer science. I also enjoy playing guitar. I've been playing since 7th grade and I'm taking a guitar course at Cabrillo this semester for fun. Another skill I have is leadership. I can be shy in a large group like this class but once I get to know other people I can assume responsibility if needed.
